Test equipment ordered by imec
For two years, Xzero has conducted tests to develop a method of treating particularly difficult waste water from the nanoelectronics industry. The tests have been performed at continuously improved prototypes at imec – the EU Center for Advanced Nanotechnology. During the fall of 2017, KTH started a PhD student program to participate in the project.
In December 2017 imec placed an order for a special equipment to manufacture Type1 Ultrapure Water, which is Xzeros main product. It is expected to be delivered in the first half of 2018 and then tested in depth for the rest of the year by imec.
